Jessica went into early labor on Wednesday evening, May 16. She had contractions roughly every 10 minutes for the next 24 hours. On Thursday evening, the contractions started getting closer together and also more intense. Around 8:00 PM our doula, Sarah, came over to help out. At 11:00 PM, with the contractions less than five minutes aparts, we headed off for the hospital. Contractions continued fast and strong through the night. A little after 8:30 AM Jessica started pushing and at 8:58 AM, Charlie Putnam Peskay was born. 

Jessica was beyond amazing through the entire pregnancy and labor. Jessica got her wish of delivering her baby naturally. It was perhaps the hardest thing she's ever done in her life, but Jessica almost made it look easy with her determination, patience and resolve.
